Stock Quote Email Scam

Emails that look as though they were meant for someone else are currently being sent to potential victims that entice them to buy certain stocks.  The perpetrators 'talk up' small, insignificant stocks to artificially drive up the price.  The perpetrators then sell their shares at a profit, leaving the victim with devalued shares.  The emails are, in general, poorly worded.

You are advised to delete the email without response or forward the stock-spam emails to the NASD at spam@nasd.com.
