Remote Deposit

Deposit checks up to $4,000.00 into your account from anywhere with your mobile device. There are certain guidelines you must follow in order for it to process correctly.

To start, log into your Mobile App with your username, security question (lower case if letters) and your password. If you have any issues logging in, contact someone in our office at 608-258-5062 .

Once you are logged in, click the three bars on the left top corner to open your options. If you do not see Remote Deposit in that section, it means you haven’t had it set up yet with a Member Service Representative. Please contact us at 608-258-5062.  If you do have that option click it for the next screen.

Important instructions will be the next section. Please read carefully to ensure a proper and accurate deposit. Endorsement is important, please endorse the reverse side of the check as FOR REMOTE DEPOSIT ONLY,  St Mary’s & Affiliates Credit Union or SMACU, followed by your signature.

Select New Deposit

The app will require you to add the amount of the check as well as the destination before requring the images. This is what the camera angles will be for each side.

Please be sure to get a clear photo of the front and the back of the check as it will be sent to the US bank just like any other check. Please keep the check for at least 10 business days just in case it doesn’t get approved for being unreadable or wrong endorsement.

Lastly, you will have to Verify the Deposit and Submit the check image.

From there, your check is automatically on hold. If you need funds immediately please contact us to request the release.
